LCRW MONTHLY MEETINGS are the 1st Friday each month.

We are arranging TWO seatings for our monthly luncheon meeting on February 5. Plans include a trial run to accommodate more members having the ability to attend our meeting and to hear our program speaker. Since we must abide by the strict and enforced limit of only 25 people in attendance at the Green Meadow Country Club, having two seatings gives an opportunity to support the LCRW by attending one of the two timelines for the meeting.

We will continue to reserve your spot via the first-come/first-served information received.

SEATING #1 – 10:30 AM BRUNCH – We will follow the same format of invocation, pledge, various business needs and our speaker/program, although the schedule within the meeting may be altered as needed. We must vacate the room no later than Noon so the staff can ‘turn it over’ for the 1 PM lunch. Please plan for punctual arrival.

SEATING #2 – 1 PM LUNCH – Again, the same format we have always used will be followed, although the schedule within the meeting may be slightly different. Our speaker will give her presentation, as well. Please plan for punctual arrival.

LCRW MONTHLY CHRISTMAS LUNCHEON - Postponed!

It is with deep regret that our annual social time in the Christmas spirit needs to be postponed due to the cancellation of all events in December at the Green Meadow Country Club. The GMCC profusely apologizes for this disappointing news. However, we want to make sure everyone follows the guidelines and restrictions, and we don’t want anyone to become sick. We are all very sorry we have to pass along this news.

HOWEVER, plans are in place for a delayed Christmas party with a silent auction at a later date! We may even have “Christmas in July”! Please hold onto your ideas for the silent auction. Also, share these details with any guests and/or other club members.

In the meantime, may you enjoy and partake in whatever means you have for the Thanksgiving holiday.

Program: A SALUTE TO THE AMERICAN VETERAN!

BILL WOON will share a slide-show/narrative of the background stories of the most amazing WWII fighting force made up of the best hand-picked men from across North America who 78 years ago set the standard for today’s Special Forces … given the name “The Black Devils” by the Germans. Bill’s father was an original Canadian member of the First Special Service Force.

Kristen graduated from the University of Montana, the University of Georgia Law School and she has taught at the University of Montana Law School for 20 years. Kristen ran for the Montana Supreme Court in 2016.

Tip-A-Cup To Judy

A delicious taco bar awaits you along with a no-host bar.
Come tip a cup as we honor Judy Martz and the marvelous things she did as governor of our great state of Montana.

Join us and Tip-A-Cup to Judy Martz and assist with the fundraising for the Judy Martz Memorial Statue to be placed in the Capitol building.

It is our honor to step in and step up to ensure the funds needed are raised. This privately funded bronze - strong like Judy - will stand as a permanent reminder that here in Montana we look to and are inspired by the women who make a difference in our communities. This statue must be funded entirely with private funds and the $100,000 goal must be met by December 31, 2020, or the authorization expires. We have a lot of work to do and raising the funds necessary to provide this tribute to Governor Martz is the first order of business.

We are looking for value items for a silent auction to make this fundraiser a great success, and we are asking for your help. Do you know an owner of a shop, salon, spa, or restaurant that might be interested in donating to this cause? Or, any other item of interest and value? Please contact Ruth Rater at (559) 280-6975.
